It caught me how normal it was to everyone that my little cousin was sleeping on the edge of a broken wooden table so peacfully. My other cousin who's watching over him shows that this isn't neglect, it's just how it is there. Life there is very hard, you don't get much time or money for luxuries like a mattress and it shows in this shot that my little cousin has learned at a very young age that reality. Living in a 3rd world country he doesn't complain, he doesn't cry, he sleeps where ever he can lye down flat enough. To him that was comfortable, as i asked my older cousin reading the newspaper, "shouldn't we move him?" and he said, "no, let him sleep, don't worry he wont move, he can sleep still anywhere".
